    Army's NextGen 50mm Cannon

At the 2019 Bushmaster User Conference (can I be a 'user'?) there was a live fire demonstration of the new 50 mm cannon, evolved from chain-gun technology. "Smokin'" is a performance understatement. Sadly I have not yet found a video of the demonstration. If you do please post it up. The article however is long on specifics. View the full article
  2. Does anybody have good sites (besides this one) or tips for selling or trading firearms? It is getting increasingly difficult to "break even" in this state when switching things up. View the full article

    Tactical Assault Staple Gun

Jerry Miculek is a world champion shooter with a great sense of humor. This guy apparently became bored of being awesome with firearms, so he designed a tactical staple gun and tests it on the range. It was awesome and funny. View the full article
  4. Despite my best prior efforts, I’ve managed to reach middle age and acquire some assets. I’ve been recently reading will/estate/probate horror stories and getting “scared straight” about not having a will. Last effing thing I would ever want to have happen is to snuff it without a will and have a state-appointed executor deciding what to do with my guns. So I’m looking for two things currently - recommendations to a 2A/RKBA friendly lawyer to advise on and draft a will for me, and advice on best practices for handling firearms as part of an estate. I don’t have any kids, and at this point it is very unlikely that I ever will. PM’s welcome if it’s not something you want to discuss “in the open”. View the full article

  6. Hello, Doing a quick poll to gather some info on the most recent New Zealand shooting and their swift action to ban firearms. Are you planning on buying guns as a result of it? View the full article
  7. I live in Texas now and I was looking to buy my brothers H&K P30. He lives in NJ and I'm coming down next week to visit. Can I just give him cash and drive back home to TX or is there something else that needs to be done. Any information will be appreciated. I've tried calling NJSP and have had no luck reaching anyone in firearms. Also tried searching Google and have had no luck. View the full article
  8. i overheard a couple of people in the parking lot of a local gun shop talking about 20 or more people being arrested at a range somewhere in Southern NJ on Saturday by State Police for having magazines exceeding 10 rounds. I tried to confirm this and find out more about it, but I cannot find any information about this anywhere with information or details. I would have thought it would have made headlines? All I could find was an arrest earlier today with Ghost Guns in Camden, but nothing about mags. View the full article
  9. As a non-licensee, I just shipped my first handgun using ShipMyGun.com (Bud's shipping service). They were great - fast and less than half of what I would have paid on my own. So according to the ATF and the guidelines posted by both UPS and FedEx, handguns need to ship overnight and you have to declare when you drop them off that the package contains an unloaded handgun. So, as I read the statute (18 U.S.C. § 922 - U.S. Code - Unannotated Title 18. Crimes and Criminal Procedure § 922), it's pretty clear that's the law, like it or not. So my question is - how would I ever prove that I did that? If I could potentially be prosecuted for not declaring something to the common carrier, what could be my defense? There was nothing recorded on the receipt she gave me and when I told her, she basically shrugged and said "OK". As silly as the law/rule seems to be, I wouldn't do what many I read do and ship the gun as "machine parts" 3-day. That's definitely a way to get jammed up if the gun breaks free of the box or is stolen since they'd never accept a declared handgun as a shipment other than priority overnight. View the full article

New guy 1911 on a budget

So I’ve only recently found my love of shooting, but i know there’s certain handguns that are a staple in most safes. I’ve got permits on the way and I’m thinking a 1911 needs to be in my collection. Keeping in mind I’m on a budget (one daughter in college, the other in private H.S. And an ex wife budget) I’m curious what you guys think is the 1911 to own. View the full article

    Importing Firearms

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I have questions about importing Firearms into the US. I plan to do to import 2 handguns probably by the end of the year. I plan to import from Switzerland. I just want to know the overall cost roughly and the breakdown of it and if anyone knows good importer for collector pieces that would be great. Not trying to get a billboard on guns I get imported. Thanks. View the full article
